Lingual Arch

The appliance uses a pin and tube in the anterior region of the arch. An open coil spring is added for activation of the pin and tube. Once the appliance is inserted in the mouth, activation begans immediately. The force of the spring,along with the length of time the patient wears the appliance, determine the amount expansion achieved.
